Greenwood Ketubah
The Greenwood Ketubah serves as a powerful visual metaphor for marriage. The wedded couple are like these trees that grow strong and tall, touching the skies—yet rooted firmly in the earth.
A Design of Growth and Connection: Two fantastic trees rise up from the ground as their roots wind and intertwine below. The rich foliage above flourishes, forming a grand arch of leaves. Together, they enhance, nurture, and fortify each other through the years to come.
Poetic Verses: The artwork features profound verses from Song of Songs:
-
“Like the rose maintaining its beauty among the thorns, so is my beloved…” (Song of Songs 2:2)
-
“Like the fragrant apple among the barren trees of the forest, so is my beloved” (Song of Songs 2:3)
-
A banner bridging the trees reads: “I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved is mine”.
